Oliver J. Stier
BSc, MA, CFA, LREA
Oliver brings a decade of professional experience in finance and investment to his role as Director and Licensee-in-Charge of OH Property Group.
Prior to starting his own agency, Oliver was with the International Finance Corporation (the private sector arm of the World Bank Group) where he worked extensively on property and housing finance in emerging Asian markets. Before that, Oliver was Vice President of Lehman Brothers based first in New York and then in Tokyo responsible for ex-Japan Asia credit products.
Years of working on large and complex deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars has given Oliver a distinct edge when it comes to rigorous and meticulous investment analysis and closing deals. Even more notable are Oliver's unparallel negotiation skills, which have seen him consistently negotiate the purchase of properties substantially below the original asking price.
Oliver was educated at Cambridge University (UK), University of Toronto (Canada) and Princeton University (USA). In addition to being a fully Licensed Real Estate Agent in NSW, Oliver also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Oliver is an avid property investor and has made personal investments in both residential and commercial properties in USA, Singapore and Australia. Having been an expat investor himself, Oliver is well aware of the value that a good buyers' agent can provide to investors who live abroad.
In addition to English, Oliver is also fluent in French and Swedish.
Oliver is a member of the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) and the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia (REBAA).
